Fish Feed and Nutrition Workshop 2025

The Fish Feed and Nutrition Workshop (FFNW) is a biennial meeting to exchange ideas, research, and advancements in fish and aquatic nutrition. We wish to welcome you to attend the 40th meeting of the FFNW in Vancouver, WA, from July 22nd to July 24th, 2025! Preliminary information about the event is provided below; a meeting agenda will be shared once finalized.

Registration

Capacity for this event is limited, so we recommend registering early! Registration is $225 and includes attendance to all workshop tours and activities, transportation to and from the tour facilities, lunch all three days, and refreshments at the workshop social. Registration will close on May 1st.

Abstracts

We encourage you to share your nutrition research by submitting an abstract! Abstracts will be accepted until April 30th and can be submitted to Ann Gannam at ann_gannam@fws.gov. Abstract instructions will be provided with your registration confirmation e-mail. Please contact Ann Gannam with any questions about abstract submission.

Tours - July 22nd

The first day of the workshop will be comprised of tours of Abernathy Fish Technology Center (USFWS) and Pacific Seafood. Charter bus transportation and lunch are included in your registration cost.

Meeting - July 23rd & July 24th

Presentations and other workshop activities will take place at the Water Resources Education Center in Vancouver, WA. Lunch and beverages throughout the day are included both days in your registration cost.

Social

Our FFNW 2025 social will be the evening of July 23rd. Venue to be announced soon!

Travel Recommendations

We recommend arranging airfare to Portland International Airport (PDX) and lodging in the Vancouver Waterfront. This area is in close proximity to the Water Resources Education Center and has Hotel Indigo and Marriott hotels and many restaurants. The Heathman Lodge is also nearby and can honor per diem rates for federal employees if needed.
